10th Annual Central Oregon Community Leader's Prayer Breakfast
April 28, 2025

What It Is: A non-denominational, cross-community, volunteer-led, non-profit morning of worship and prayer. Our Nation and Region are in a season of great disruption and challenge. This creates the ideal window of opportunity for leaders of faith to move confidently and boldly into the gap, to propose and to model God's way. GUEST SPEAKER: Hon. Mike McLane
Past Prayer Breakfast Speakers:
Over the past eight years, we've enjoyed a variety of excellent speakers, including local and nationally prominent men and women of faith, such as Kevin Palau. Keynote Speaker: Hon. Mike McLane - "The Strategies of Jesus"Mike McLane, is a practicing attorney, a former state representative, a former Crook County Circuit Court judge and a 2024 candidate for Oregon State Senate. Mike and his wife Holly live in Powell Butte, OR and attend Shiloh Ranch Church. Mike serves as a Colonel in the Oregon Air National Guard with over 20 years of military service. He previously served at the 173rd Fighter Wing at Kingsley Field, an F-15 training base in Klamath Falls. Prior to his service in the Oregon Air National Guard, McLane was an officer in the 41st Infantry Brigade in the Oregon Army National Guard. Mike served five terms as a State Representative in House District 55. Six of those were spent as House Republican Leader. He resigned from his post in 2019 to take an appointment from former Governor Kate Brown as a judge for the 22nd Circuit Court of Oregon, which covers Crook and Jefferson counties. Mike opted to leave the bench in 2021 and return to private practice with Lynch Murphy McLane, a Bend law firm. Every leader follows someone. Mike follows Jesus, and has made a rigorous study of the leadership strategies of Jesus. His practical, Biblically-grounded message will highlight three of these key strategies. It will inspire us all and equip us wth immediately applicable action steps we can use to implement the Strategies of Jesus in our own lives. |
